Ever since middle school, he’s put on a mask and let himself be seen how he wants to be seen.
Tony, after taking him under his wing and mentoring him, started seeing Peter’s true confidence, and eventually, realised that Peter wasn’t as shy as he portrayed himself to be.

“You know I do, cowboy. You helped me pack yesterday, and I heard you rifling through my bag before you came to bed last night.” Peter smiled, the exhaustion in his eyes less obvious for a second. “I’ll be able to get anything else when I land, in case I have left something behind.”
The words were out of Harley’s mouth before he could register even thinking them. “But not me.”

With nightmares preventing both Harley and Peter from getting a full night sleep in over a week, the idea of Peter travelling across the world seems a little too overwhelming. With promises of rest, plans for reuniting, and a few changes to the schedule, they finally get some well deserved sleep.

Peter Parker is one of the busiest staff members at Stark Industries. Between mentoring junior interns and sitting in on board meetings with the active CEO, he's rarely ever stuck in one place. Sometimes that can be a good thing though, if the spilled coffee and cute blonde that Peter has never seen before has anything to say about it.
