A month or so later, the rescue party that had banded together to find her, instead found a tape recorder containing these eight audio logs, detailing exactly what may have happened to her. The results... aren't pretty, to say the least.

He was led to a small raft, where Dream stood onto it first before Tommy sat down. The raft was tied off of the pitch that held it there and then they left. A Journey to Snaktooth island, his prison until he dies. He hoped that Dream would let him be buried properly, exactly how he wanted it to be. A nice casket next to where his brother laid. And yet, the hope of that slowly leaked away every day, like a broken glass that was once full of water. There was nothing for him but the island.
Aka: the author is INCREDIBLY hyperfixated on bugsnax and just had to find a way to put their blorbo bleepus into it

"A temporary roommate wouldn't be so bad. Perhaps they had gotten used to the shared living space in Snaxburg. More selfishly, they could help 'one of their own' and learn. Gramble was painfully empathetic, and Floofty was not. Maybe some of his charm would rub off on them if they breathed the same air for a period."
Floofty convinces Gramble to go back to college, but there's only one problem. Gramble can't afford to live on his own, let alone drive to school without a license. Floofty impulsively makes him an offer; stay with them until he can earn enough to move out. No catch. Along the way Floofty tries to figure out this 'empathy' thing, and Gramble navigates all the confusing emotions that come with dating(?) Wiggle. But the year drags on, and things and feelings change. Hopefully, for the better.
