Mad Libs meets Y/N fic with a slight sprinkling of Choose Your Own Adventure...in libretto form!
Make your fan apprentice the co-lead in a musical adaptation of The Arcana's pre-canon storyline. Choose your name, your pronouns, who you flirt with (if anyone). There are songs where you choose which lyrics to use (or write your own!) There are even places for you to input personality establishing dialog. With 100 song numbers and 68 scenes, there's plenty of material to work with to create the unhinged libretto you never knew you needed.
Please see the Gooogle Drive for canon-specific abridged variations (that you can plug your answers into without having to set up the answer fields yourself!) and/or to make yourself a fully editable copy to remix and transform to your liking...or if you just want to read the whole thing before I finish posting it to AO3.

Summary
A novelization of The Arcana's storyline with Muriel as its central character rather than the player/apprentice.
Its essential goal is to bring love and attention to what Muriel is rather than what he isn't, and to match the pace at which he lives (rather than steamroll his personality or trauma to make room for a faster more romantic plot.) In this house we savor the large lad.
This version of The Arcana is slower, less dramatic in scope, and has done its best to leave the major events and decisions whole while underpinning them with a richer and more nuanced web of motives and characterizations.
