“Well, let’s not jump to conclusions here. Getting split from his shirt doesn’t mean he’s dead.” Communication lines are down. Nothing can prove Sniff is - or isn’t - still alive.

Summary

“If you will have me, Cleo… take my ties and silks and draw them off. Undress me as you would a mortal man, and I am yours.”
“Undress you?” The words left her in a whisper. “Is such a thing sacred?”
“Yes,” he breathed, and Cleo shuddered despite herself. He gripped her arm, pulling her in. “To take my silks is to possess my heart and soul, as the skins of seal-folk. You remember, of course, how the god of travel and arts stripped the god of war and sky. Make a mortal thing of me.”
Cleo has never seen her husband; the father of her children. He only visits in the dark.

Honestly, Joel looks like crap, and Scar is a little concerned.
He had come up on the bridge to visit Grian, but clearly something is wrong with Joel, “Are you okay Joel?” Scar asks, approaching the human.
“I’m finnnne.” Joel slurs, “Just gettttin’ Gri and Jim some foodss.”
Scar walks over to him, putting the back of his hand against Joel’s forehead.
The man leans into the touch, closing his eyes.
Joel’s forehead is so hot it almost burns.
“Joel, you're sick.” Scar says, pulling his head back.
Joel’s eyes flutter open and it looks like he’s struggling to keep it that way, “No I’mnnn’ot!” Joel says, coughing into his elbow before continuing, “This is allergies to the wheat some somethin’.” he says, “Jim and Grian are the sick onnness."
Scar sighs, he did hear Grian had not been feeling well and the last session was carried around on a lama as he slept due to that, but clearly now Joel has whatever the avian had.
Scar decides he’ll take care of Joel because clearly he’s not going to rest on his own.

“Daddy, what are you making?” Scar asks, adjusting his hold on the gray and white cat.
"A peanut butter and jelly sandwich and ants on a log.” Etho says, grabbing the jar of peanut butter and a butter knife, spreading the peanut butter on the inside curve of the celery.
Scar sticks out his tongue, making a face, “Eww, I don’t want to eat bugs like Bdubs.”
“First, your brother does not eat bugs…anymore, and second, they don't actually want Scar, they are raisins.” Etho chuckles.
“Oh.” Scar says.
