Summary
Ray stood frozen. Brad paused too. He watched Brad’s face, trying to piece together his reaction. He couldn’t. Brad glanced around, looking a bit confused.
What does Ray even say? That he freaked and drove twenty something hours to get here? That he nearly folded and bought more Ripped Fuel? That the intense urge to see Brad was fast and sudden and stronger than whatever capacity he thought he needed Ripped Fuel? No. Definitely none of those things.

Or: Ray is a fucking mess and turns to Brad to fix all the shit. :) -

He can’t help but wonder what color her eyes would turn with afternoon sunlight hitting them just so.
How soft her skin would feel under his fingertips: a creamy thigh, smooth stomach, the taut pull of abdominal muscle underneath, juxtaposed further up by the underside of a small, perfect breast; those shiny black curls slipping through his fingers, snagging on the ring he still can’t bear to take off after all these years.

Summary
A hankering to see the USA (and visit old friends along the way) put Brad Colbert's ass in the seat of his motorcycle and took him east over the Mississippi, to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Columbus, and on into Pittsburgh where he crashed out in Doc Bryan's spare bedroom, grateful for the softness of the bed and thinking of the days where he could've ridden like that, slept on the floor, got up the next morning, and not thought twice about it.

Summary
Imagine how things might have gone if Doc Bryan was part of One Alpha's Humvee team.
Or: Doc Bryan and Ray Person in the same victor for weeks on end while everybody is suffering from sleep deprivation and Ray is high on Ripped Fuel certainly doesn't sound like the best idea.

Summary
“Are you sure you’re not the one with the brain injury, Ray? I could call over Doc Bryan,” Brad offers with a mockingly raised eyebrow.
“Ha, fucking, ha,” Ray says. “But let’s see if you still think that the moment Doc Bryan calls you cuddle bug to your face.”

Summary
Imagines for my fave GenKill characters. Fluff fluff fluff!!! Comfort dynamics present. ❤️
Slight agegap for Rudy and Gunny since they’re the older ones in the platoon, the (fem!) OC is meant to be younger (in their 20s) but you can imagine however you like!

Summary
A good officer can’t get too attached to his men. Nate knows that. But when push comes to shove, he would do anything for his platoon. When command fucks up (again) and he is caught in the fallout, he finds out that the boys are as protective of him as he of them.
In short: Bravo 2 realizes that they can’t fight this war without their LT.

Summary
The concrete floor makes Ray shiver, but the cold is a refreshing change from back alleys, open pastures, forest floors; he’s half-certain the last time he slept under a roof was the bordello in Austin and he certainly can’t remember the last time he stayed in one town for more than a single night. It hardly matters now, anyway. Stuck. Between the soft breathing of stranger-hicks in this tumbleweed town, waiting for dawn and for his friends to bail him out.

"So, how long have you and Gabe been fucking?"
James promptly choked on his bottle of Gin. His jaw dropped and he stared in sheer disbelief, looking like one of his retarded little brothers. "The fuck you say?"Doc smirked devilishly at him, that big shark-like grin on full display. James wanted to punch it off his stupid face but he knew better than to fuck with Doc. He would eat him alive. "Oh, c'me on, Chaffin. You didn't seriously expect me not to notice? My whole goddamn job is to observe your heinous ass. You, Garza, go. Talk,"
Well, fuck. The cat was out of the bag now.

Summary
After falling out of touch (which Brad would like everyone to know is just a thing that happens to adults and is not indicative of his own problems regarding communication with other human beings) Brad and Ray are thrown together during a destination wedding for one of their own. Bickering, name-calling, scheming, hijinks and romance ensue.
Inspired by Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, and more recently, the film Anyone But You, which is very silly but very sweet, and made me want to write my own spin for BradRay.
