Summary
"Tell me something that brings you comfort."
"Something that brings me comfort?" Robby shot back, his tone mocking the frivolity of it, because he never was one to just follow directions.
"Yes," Gene said, eternally unfazed. "It can be the smallest thing, whatever comes to mind."
What came to mind was: Pens games, the trails at Frick Park, the rare book collection in the Oliver Room at Carnegie Main, a cortado at Sage Caffe. But what he said was: "Jack."
...wait. Shit.

Summary
Anger flickered in Robby’s eyes as Frank approached, the former's voice surprisingly level. “Jesus Christ, Frank. First it was benzos, now it's steroids? Are you fucking kidding me?”
Frank blinked, frozen with dread as he remembered what went down the last time Robby gave him a talking-to in the locker room. Robby scoffed and shook his head, venom starting to seep into his tone. “We just stopped testing your urine every day. Do we need to start doing that again? Add a steroids panel?”
Frank does his weekly testosterone shot at work instead of at home after running late in the morning. Robby catches him at a bad time.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker’s life is in freefall.
Dennis' family disowned him for coming out and breaking off an engagement they'd spent years cultivating, his medical career was destroyed after being blackballed in the industry from his ex-family's foundation, and now he scrapes by as a barista, barely able to afford coffee, let alone his dreams.
Exhausted, broke, and invisible in a city that once promised him everything, Dennis stumbles through double shifts until a chance encounter changes his fate:
Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, a charming, wealthy celebrity in the medical industry, walks into Dennis’s coffee shop and sees past his exhaustion and desperation to the man beneath. What starts as flirtation quickly deepens when Robby offers Dennis warmth, kindness, and a way out, where both parties can get exactly what they want.
For Robby, a relationship where he knows exactly where both parties stand. For Dennis, a chance to live in the lap of luxury and have a chance at returning to the industry he loves. For both? They'll have to decide if this relationship is purely transactional, or if something deeper is bubbling under the surface.

Summary
Robby never meant to inherit a farm or the ghosts that came with it. He was just doing his job when he diagnosed his childhood best friend with early-onset Alzheimer’s. Months later, that same man took his own life, and Robby was left with the will, the guilt, and the heavy silence of a place that was never his.
Dennis has spent his life trapped on that same farm, praying to a God that never answered, trying to make a father proud who only ever saw him as a mistake. When a stranger from the city shows up claiming ownership, it feels like one last punishment, but maybe, just maybe, a chance to start over.
Out in rural Pennsylvania, under skies too big for the things they’re running from, a doctor and a farm boy learn that grief doesn’t leave, it settles, and sometimes what grows from it is something almost like love.

Summary
Dennis’s life is simple.
Maybe a little too simple. Don’t get it wrong. He likes the life he has. He lives in a small town, with his family, and works on the farm. He also knows everyone in town (which isn’t hard, since it’s tiny). But still, he feels incomplete, like something’s missing. He feels like his peaceful life needs something more. But he doesn’t know what. -

Summary
When muralist Marisol Navarro returns to Pittsburgh to work at her uncle’s tattoo shop, The Curious Cat, she finds herself painting color back into more than just the walls of the city. Years ago, her forest-animal murals brightened the pediatric ER at PTMC; now, she’s been invited to create a new ocean-themed piece for the children’s floor.
Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch—still carrying the ghosts of colleagues lost after PittFest and COVID—recognizes her work long before he meets her. Her color, warmth, and stubborn optimism begin to undo the quiet ruin he’s built around himself.
Between cups of coffee, tattoos, one very affectionate shop cat named Miso, their connection deepens—until tragedy forces Robby to decide whether he’ll keep living half-alive in grayscale or take a chance on the woman who paints his world back into color.

Summary
“How about this,” he said. “You can feed from me. We can set up a little schedule to make sure you don’t end up like this again.”
Whitaker’s head shot up, his brow furrowed. “Sir, I couldn't—”
“It's okay, I've had people feed from me before. This can be a temporary solution until we can set you up with a more stable supply. I know I can be a bit…” Robby trailed off, watching the corners of Whitaker’s lips quirk up. “But I care about all of my crew. That includes you. You're a great doctor, and I can’t have you making mistakes because you can’t afford to eat.”
Whitaker smiled. “Student doctor.”
Or: What Robby intends to be an innocent favor for his subordinate turns into much more than he bargained for.

Summary
“Dennis couldn’t help but stare, ears red and hot. He couldn’t help but feel the magnetism in the air that existed between the two older men. It was thick and tense, and he felt like it was suffocating him. His body was now heavy with a secret that he wasn’t supposed to hold.”
AKA Dennis can’t stop ruminating on that afternoon he saw Robby and Abbot making out in the locker room, and decides he needs in on the action.
