Summary
"The truth sank in deep. Dennis hung trapped. In a sticky web of sin. This Man. This charming Doctor is from a land of wealth and luxury that Dennis will never have the right to know. Dr. Robby had lured him step by step. Pulled him close. For the first time, he didn't fight. He leaned in. I craved the dark pull. Let sin wrap around him tight. Wash over his skin. But only now. Just this once. A quick dive. Then back to light. After all, any love with a capital man is born to be temporary, but that doesn't mean it cannot be fun."

Summary
The red light ahead changed, and Dennis eased the car through the intersection, the tires splashing through puddles as the drains couldn’t keep up with the amount of rain coming down.
He didn’t notice the black truck barreling toward him, headlights off, until it was too late.
The world seemed to tilt, then straighten, then tilt again. A deafening roar of brakes squeaking, metal crunching, and sirens filled his ears. “Michael” was the last thought in his head before he slipped unconscious with the rain dripping onto his face through the broken window.

Or, Dennis is in a car accident and Robby goes through Hell waiting for his boyfriend to find his way home, back to him.

Little did he know he would meet his med student there, and strike up an unlikely bond.
Or,
Dennis and Robby meet at Dennis’ second job. Robby gets to see him in a different light, and against what they both know they begin to build a bond. One they’re determined to keep away from the prying eyes of the hospital.

Summary
Robby never meant to inherit a farm or the ghosts that came with it. He was just doing his job when he diagnosed his childhood best friend with early-onset Alzheimer’s. Months later, that same man took his own life, and Robby was left with the will, the guilt, and the heavy silence of a place that was never his.
Dennis has spent his life trapped on that same farm, praying to a God that never answered, trying to make a father proud who only ever saw him as a mistake. When a stranger from the city shows up claiming ownership, it feels like one last punishment, but maybe, just maybe, a chance to start over.
Out in rural Pennsylvania, under skies too big for the things they’re running from, a doctor and a farm boy learn that grief doesn’t leave, it settles, and sometimes what grows from it is something almost like love.

Summary
For Michael, his life ended many years ago. No lost dawn could compare to the emptiness and loneliness that haunted him for the rest of his days after the love of his life was taken from him.
Secluded for years in a crumbling house, he learned to do what he called surviving. But if he had to spend the rest of eternity until a hunter found him, at least he wouldn't regret anything.
He began by searching for those responsible for his partner's death, unaware that every road would lead him to a new hope.

Summary
“What if we faked being in a relationship.”
The silence that followed wasn’t reassuring, but Dennis had yet to threaten him, so he took it as a sign to continue. “Think about it. We start getting closer, pushing others to think we’re romantically involved. Maybe we arrive and leave at the same time, if you’re comfortable, I could touch your neck and you can do the same. We plan dates, we laugh. A bulletproof plan.”
Dennis nodded along with his words, seeming more and more convinced as John went on with his explanation.
“And if Robby actually likes me, he will get jealous and, eventually, he will confess.”
“Exactly.”
[...]
And apparently, Dennis wasn’t as sober as he looked ‘cause, less than two minutes after, he looked John deep in his eyes and uttered two simple words.
“I’m in.”
The beginning of the end.Or,
John moves to PIttsburgh to be closer to his borhter, but finds himself neck deep into a fake relationship, that maybe, on his side, wasn't so fake.

Summary
When muralist Marisol Navarro returns to Pittsburgh to work at her uncle’s tattoo shop, The Curious Cat, she finds herself painting color back into more than just the walls of the city. Years ago, her forest-animal murals brightened the pediatric ER rooms at PTMC; now, she’s been invited to create a new ocean-themed piece for the children’s floor.
Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch recognizes her work long before he meets her. Her color, warmth, and stubborn optimism begin to undo the quiet ruin he’s built around himself.
Between cups of coffee, tattoos, one very affectionate shop cat named Miso, their connection deepens—until tragedy forces Robby to decide whether he’ll keep living half-alive in grayscale or take a chance on the woman who paints his world back into color.

Summary
The pandemic took plenty from everyone—peace of mind, loved ones. Olivia Friorelli knows that better than anyone. After the death of her husband, Olivia has spent years learning how to keep moving forward—pouring herself into her kindergarten classroom, fixing up the house she swore she’d sell while tending to her garden, keeping the ache of her past carefully tucked away, and trying to remember how to live a life that feels a little softer.
Dr. Michael Robinavich doesn’t do soft. The ER doesn’t leave much room for it. Between the trauma cases, the long days, and the ghosts he can’t save, Robby’s built his life around control — keep your head down, keep moving, don’t get attached.
And yet, there he is, sitting beside a woman in bright pink shoes and ribbon in her hair in the quiet of the therapist’s waiting room, both of them pretending this is just another Tuesday. What starts as shared silence and tentative smiles grows into late-night coffee runs, sticky note confessions, and laughter that feels like sunlight breaking through gray skies. Sometimes love doesn’t announce itself with fireworks. Sometimes it grows quietly, in stolen moments, from the things we make together.

Summary
Logic leaves you when he leans in to nose at your neck. Your last was Robby, always Robby, with his wide eyes and wider hands, the scent of antiseptic hidden by the fresh laundry detergent you used to share. “Missed you, baby.” He slurs, open mouth planting wet kisses on your jaw, your throat, the shoulders covered by your shirt. It’s still a dream, has to be, so you’re not afraid to cover his hand with your own. You lightly brush over his wedding ring tan, and he doesn’t comment on it. Just shifts his hips a little to bring himself closer to you, warmth radiating off him in waves. Robby always ran cold, always had to have one of those stupid hoodies on, but to you he was as warm as melted spring snow.
Maybe that’s why you reach for the hem of his shirt.

Summary
Poor kid, he had time to think before his eyes traveled from the body covered by the heating blanket to the young man's face.
His heart dropped in his chest and his whole body turned cold with fear.
“Oh god…Whitaker?” he said as his eyes landed on the very familiar face.
The young man was deathly pale, skin waxy and lips blue, but there was no doubt in his mind that this was their former med student that he hadn't seen in months lying lifeless on the gurney, body covered in blankets, c-collar around his neck and breathing tube in his mouth and secured to his face.
~
Dennis doesn't get matched with PTMC or the emergency department. Almost a year later he is brought into the ER in critical condition. By then no one has heard from him in months.
