"Wait, don’t move," Wally heard urgently, just before the uncomfortable blindfold was pulled away from his eyes. The sudden rush of light made him squint, and he blinked rapidly to adjust to the change.
"Damn, his eyes are completely bloodshot," the person in front of him remarked. A person he definitely recognized, but that made no sense to his drug-addled brain at that moment.
Right… Couldn’t they just go back to their theory about space cake? There was no way this wasn’t some bizarre dream.
"Aren’t you guys supposed to be heroes?" Wally asked, staring wide-eyed at his boyfriend's brothers, who were fully suited up and standing right in front of him.
Dick's family doesn't seem to like his new boyfriend, Wally West. While Wally doesn’t understand their hostility, he figures things will eventually get better. That is, until he wakes up drugged and tied to a chair, courtesy of Robin, Red Robin, and Red Hood.

“Uh, Dick…” he tried again. But the brunette chose that exact moment to finally let everything out.
“You broke my arm, you asshole!” he spat, the resentment in his eyes so intense that Wally wondered if there was something more to it. Wally’s mouth opened several times, but no sound came out.
“Uh, you do realize you just risked something far worse, right?” was all Wally could manage to say. He was utterly confused, like seriously confused by the reaction. It seemed over the top. And he wasn’t the only one, judging by the looks on the faces of the others in the hallway.
“I knew what I was doing,” Dick continued, as though he hadn’t even heard Wally’s words. He was speaking as if Wally was the one not making sense.
There's a shooting at Keystone City University, and while Wally is already on the scene, there's a catch: he’s just regular college student Wally West right now, not Kid Flash. If he does anything out of the ordinary, his secret identity could be exposed. Luckily, he has a plan: he’ll rely on the famous Dick Grayson, who seems completely unfazed by the chaos, to draw attention away from him.

Wally blinked hard, desperate to regain his composure. “I’m sorry, what?” he muttered, his words laced with disbelief.
He turned around to face the crowd, a silent plea in his eyes. This couldn’t be real. But the faces in the audience stared back at him with nothing but indifference.
“So, you’re telling me I’m actually sentenced today because I didn’t die?” His voice shook with frustration. Wally took a breath, steadying himself as much as possible. “Did you seriously kill the entirety of my universe just for that?”
His words hung in the room, his anger simmering, his chest tight with the weight of it all.
Wally West has lost everything. Now trapped in the TVA, nothing feels familiar. When he crosses paths with agent Dick Grayson, hope flickers until Wally realizes he doesn’t know him. To Dick, the Flash is just another case, a complete stranger. Wally tries to reach out, desperate for connection, but the man he once loved is distant, cold, and unaware of their past. The painful truth sinks in : his life, his love, is gone. And this Dick Grayson is a stranger, never to be the man he once knew.

He’s seen this movie before. Poor unsuspecting young lad gets nabbed by ill-intentioned peoples of ambiguous origins. One of them runs around acting like there’s a crisis of one sort or other while big muscle, threat-y man guards the prisoner who is not chained down or restrained in any way and has what can be assumed is full cognition. Although if he didn’t have full cognition, would he know? Okay, maybe, just maybe he hadn’t seen this metaphorical movie before but acknowledging that would mean admitting that he had no idea what was going on. Wally did not want to do that.

Dick grabbed the back of Wally’s neck and pulled him closer, his other hand on his waist. The black haired boy moved Wally until he was straddling Dick. It was heaven.

Richard Grayson-Wayne disappeared from the public eye six years ago. Some think that it was how the billionaire's ward was handling the departure of his rumored lover, Barbara Gordon, almost a year prior. The last sighting of him was in Gotham during the commemoration of Batgirl's death, July 14th 2014.

Robin left the Team half a year after Batgirl's death. Though he did not cut contact with them, he no longer operated as a hero. This continued until 2019 when he became protege to Black Canary, a fact known only by a select few. He now goes by the moniker of Nightwing and has trained for three years under Canary before joining the Team under his new name.

When he joins the Team, Dick is forced to deal with his demons and to relearn how to trust both himself and his teammates. As he does so, he finds himself slipping into a dangerously familiar rhythm with Wally that feels suspiciously like falling in love.
Can the battered hero figure out how to reconcile with himself and stop living a true double life? Or will he crash and burn, falling prey to the fears that have plagued him since Barbara's death? Will the Team be able to save Dick before he completely loses himself?
