At twelve years old, Loki sacrifices himself as a warbride to the tyrant king's son, Thor. To save his family and people, Jotun Loki goes to Asgard, where he will be trained and educated for the role of Thor's bride. Thor hates the little blue freak, and is cruel to him. Determined to succeed, Loki stamps down his temper and pride in an effort to get along, though is often unsuccessful.
Thor is confussed by his obsessed feelings towards his betrothed, both liking and hating him. He views Loki as ergi and refuses to be ergi himself, denying his feelings towards the boy.
When another prince shows acceptance and affection towards Loki, Thor responds badly to his jealousy. In an effort to prove himself better and more powerful then the other prince, he drives Loki away.
But Thor won't accept that. Loki is his. -

Summary
In an AU Jotunheim where Loki is raised as the not-quite-hidden prince of his realm, King Thor of Asgard and his invading Einherjar are waging the final days of war against Laufey. Thor knows that the key to subjugating the Frost Giants for once and for all is to capture and conquer their sorcerer, a mysterious figure who looks Aesir but is as hard to pin down as a handful of smoke. Thor understands less than he thinks the cost to himself of engaging in such dishonourable warfare, and certainly does not understand the price that Loki must pay for serving the king.
