She watched the drone walk past her hiding spot in the ceiling. The drone was heading home after a day at work. This she knew because she had been watching the drone for the past week. She knew he was seriously overpaid in his frustratingly easy job. One of the lights in the dim hallway flickered and the drone she was watching cast an unconcerned, almost annoyed look at it. She looked up and down the hall one more time before jumping down, landing silently behind the drone on the cold metal floor, one of her hands a machine gun.
"T-time to die." She hissed as he turned around slowly.Uzi Doorman lost her father a long time ago in an incident with the doors. Uzi terrorized the colony for a while before stumbling across the Disassembly Drones.

Summary
Once upon a time, humans used to be the top of the food chain. But they were quickly dethroned when their creations-the drones-had enough of their abuse and torment. Now, they are at the very bottom, even below dirt. And now, they're the laborers, servants, and slaves. They're the one who're at the mercy of their very own creations.
In the aftermath of it all, the humans are treated as nothing more than cattle to be produced and sold off. Such is the fate of one Uzi... Something. She doesn't think she ever had a last name. Either way, she's just as much a slave as the rest of humanity. And unfortunately for her, the defiant, fiery nature of hers is seen as a "commodity" among her kind.
Though, she supposes she can still count one blessing, as her new "Master" doesn't appear to act like the rest. Of course, he isn't some push-over, but he's certainly nicer than Uzi could've gotten.
Doesn't mean she has to like her Master, though.

Things only went downhill for V after episode 8. N basically ditched her, and Lizzy, calling her “Boring now” has started to drift away from her too. J has been missing since the fight with Cyn happened. With no one to talk to, V has been left with her thoughts, and her guilt.
Until one day, out on a hunt, she mistakes a surviving human teenager for a worker drone.
Hello! So, yeah, this is my first fanfic. It's meant to chase down a lot of the issues I have with the show. The main focus is TECHNICALLY a human, but the human is more to push things together (And push people apart :3)
This follows the basic story of the show, nothing major changes, but I'm changing the year from 3071 to 2550. 1000 years is completely absurd.(Oh yeah, and things are going to get real gorey real fast, that's your warning)

Static blinded him, filling his audial and visual sensors. He gasped, pushing through the pain coursing through him to sit up, shaking his head to try and dismiss the static and error messages peeking through it. What was that voice? Puppy - was that him? Where was he?
The static in his sensors resolved itself to show him the ruined cityscape filled with snow and ash around him. Wind howled past his audials. Looking down at himself, he was also covered in it; he must have been sitting here a while.
