She continued to yell and scream her lungs out while kicking and punching around the large crater the time machine made in the woods. it did nothing to ease the growing anger in her chest.
“You done?” Comet asked, leaning back against The Sphere to watch his friend have a breakdown. He knew that the best way to handle his friend when she got this angry, which wasn’t often, was to let her calm herself down.
“AS A MATTER OF FACT, I AM NOT COMET!” She yelled back, stopping her pacing to yell at her best friend. “BECAUSE WE ARE STRANDED IN THE PAST, WITH NO INDICATION OF WHAT YEAR IT IS!”
“It’s October 10th, 2025,” Nessa called from inside The Sphere. “Means our parents would be in junior year.”
