Alcohol has a funny way of eroding one's values into dirt, especially when you combine it with the atmosphere and every-man-for-himself culture of Hell. Being boyfriends with a man who already had poor morals and values, he should've expected Blitzo to be prepared with a half-baked plan whilst half-baked when he spoke up. Stolas doesn't want to hurt anybody- he just wants some liquor; Blitzo seems convinced that the two of them can pull this heist off. So why not travel three rings down in a stolen car, armed to the teeth while the former is half-drunk, the latter half-stoned? When in Hell, act like a demon... or so they say.
An experiment in Gonzo-esque storytelling.
