Summary
I love you, kid.
Buck snaps his eyes open – unsure when they even fell shut. He scans his surroundings. His phone has fallen to the floor, the screen has gone dark. He swallows before he reaches out for it.
Then he stops. Glances at the razor still sitting patiently on his thigh – he's urged to grab it and just start hacking at the skin.
He doesn't. He wants to, though.

Summary
“Please…”, he hears himself whine in a tone that he’s never heard before. What is wrong with him?
“Please, what, baby? Tell me what you want.” Evan says, almost mockingly as continues to slowly stroke, squeezing every few strokes to do nothing more than make Tommy lose his mind.
“Please…more. I, fuck, Evan, need more”, he says breathily, barely able to get out the words. Evan’s light touches drive him more and more out of his mind with arousal.

Buck has always had complicated relationships. He knows this one will be just as complicated, if not more than others, but he also knows it will be worth every bit. Thinking about the past leads into the future and he realizes he's excited about what has yet to come.

Summary
Before Buck could even think Eddie was turning his back on him and storming back out of the locker room, letting the door slam behind him. Buck stood there, dumbfound. He just stared at the door Eddie had slammed. He couldn’t understand why he was so mad. If it had been Eddie who had seen the hand at the window Buck had zero doubt that Eddie would do the exact same thing. Throwing Christopher in this too made Buck join Eddie in being mad. At least now they were pissed together.

Summary
Buck loves the rush of the stage—the lights, the thunder of the crowd, the feeling of being wanted. Tommy loves it too… maybe a little too much.
One missing boyfriend, one too-familiar VIP flirtation, and one best friend who’s done watching push Buck toward a truth he’s never wanted to see.
And when Eddie pulls him into a slow, steady rhythm on the dancefloor, Buck realizes he’s been in the wrong orbit all along.

Summary
Eddie's discomfort feels more Catholic than like repressed queer desire, but Tommy doesn’t know him that well yet. He doesn’t know either of them that well yet, not really. All he knows is that Evan has been unaware of his blatant attraction to men for over thirty years and that Eddie has a weird enough relationship with sex to go red at even the mention of anal fingering. He knows that they’re absurdly close. And he knows with startling clarity that no one in their right mind would look at Evan and not want to keep him for themselves.
Jealousy burns hot. Tommy clenches and unclenches his fist. Evan is a breath of clean mountain air after a lifetime spent in a series of smoky rooms. He’s not ready to let Evan go so easily. Not yet. Not when this is all so new. Not when Evan makes him feel like this.

Summary
It had been a long day for Athena and all she wanted to do was go home and have a nice meal with her family, but the universe seemed to have other plans as she was called to a drowning to investigate the circumstances and help interview witnesses. The business that owned the lake the drowning had occurred at has already had a few lawsuits filed against them and the chief wanted her to see if there was any cause to finally shut it down.
She finds a little girl there who won't talk to her, so she called Buck since he's so good with kids, asking him to please talk to her or at least get her to join the rest of the group so that she wasn't all alone as she played.

Summary
“Hey!” Chim yells from the other side of the truck. “You two better not be making out back there!”
Buck freezes. Eddie doesn’t even flinch—he just sighs and presses one more kiss to the corner of Buck’s mouth like he’s claiming interest.
Then he steps back, tugging Buck’s jacket straight with stupid fondness in his eyes.
“Let them talk,” Eddie says. “I’m kissing my boyfriend.”

For some reason, this was really doing it for Buck— seeing Eddie get riled up, how pink his cheeks would get, and how deep his voice would get. If Buck wasn’t careful, he’ll cross a line he shouldn’t.
He just can’t help it though and goes on a mission to ragebait Eddie to get a reaction out of him— to see how he could get under his skin.

Summary
Some are born saints, some become saints, and some have sainthood horribly thrust upon them by two beefy firefights who are unable to communicate their feelings to each other in healthy or normal ways.
Georgie Abbott isn't sure what she's done to deserve this cruel and unusual punishment, but when Eddie Diaz decides that she's the only person on the planet who can help him through a looming sexuality crisis, by god she's going to take the job seriously.
An outsider POV of our two favorite firefighters; featuring couscous confessions, Dirty Dancing lifts, Eddie being an absolute disaster, and a teeny tiny pony called Peanut. -

Summary
“Does this change a thing between us?” Buck asks, his voice low, his hands still framing Eddie’s face. He can feel the unsteady breaths leaving Eddie’s lips, warm against his own.
Eddie looks wrecked. His cheeks are flushed, lips red and kiss-swollen, his glassy eyes locked on Buck’s mouth like it’s the only thing he can see. He looks as hungry as Buck feels. Buck feels Eddie’s fingers trace along his arms, squeezing just enough to leave his skin tingling.
“I don’t know.”
It’s not a yes—Buck’s not even sure he wants to hear a yes. But it’s so much better than the rejection Eddie threw at him before.
“Alright,” Buck exhales, nodding like it’s nothing, even though it feels massive. Then he surges forward, catching Eddie’s mouth in his again. The soft, desperate sound Eddie lets out—like relief and need tangled together—hits Buck like a punch to the chest.
or; Eddie’s shame torments him. Buck would rather have a piece of Eddie than nothing at all. Miscommunication is their biggest enemy. Infidelity turns into their savior… or ends up being the thing that destroys them?

Summary
Eddie was just considering putting down P-L-U-M-S for 18-across (Prunes that are not dry. See, Buck's knowledge spirals paid off for Eddie too!) when someone elbowed him and whispered near his shoulder, "Does he ever shut up?"
Eddie blinked down at his crossword.
Did someone just say that to him? To him? He turned his head to look at the guy sat next to him and peered down at his nameplate; Mckenzie. "Excuse me?" He tried to keep his tone low and even.
A.K.A.
Buck and Eddie will NOT allow any slander of their bestie to go unchecked in their presence.
A.A.K.A.
A self-indulgent fic where Buck and Eddie defend each other from (some) of their fandom's usual criticism of their characters.
