“Little rat stole a screwdriver,” Bill says, his arms crossed to his chest.

With the shrieking alarm of a car, victim to some of the debris, she lifted her face, a painful crick finding its home as her neck pops oddly. Dr. Daniela Star comfortably stuck to her cheek. She peels the page away and lets it thump onto the countertop.
The unnecessary TV in the corner clicks to life, staticy and jumbled words blaring out, the typical evacuation warning joining the symphony of sirens.
This slow day was about to get a lot more interesting.
