Hope has already had a taste of the weird cycle of death and rebirth their newfound abilities seem to lead them to. The question is how the hell they're going to get out of it.
At first, it seems like hitting a different bar entirely should keep them well out of their previous captor's clutches. But then they meet Strade, and realise it might not be that simple...
This is a fic based on my experience of playing YKMET: Strade while making choices as my character Ebony Hope Chambers(they/she) who is a canon character in my own work Human Nature but also a main character OC for other visual novels. They're referred to primarily as Hope in my other fics in them, but they only really start going by that name during the course of this story. They experience murder sims as a time loop where they are sent back to the start whenever they die, so essentially whatever endings I end up unlocking by playing as them are going to write the story; there's just going to be some elaboration in terms of how Hope specifically would feel about all of this.
Most of the tags are maybes so far because I'm not sure where the game will take me, so they may not all feature! See notes for further warnings!

Loki’s about to ask why he’d ask such a thing—out loud this time—only to realize he was leaning against a wall, and not in a gracious or casual way.
Loki looks around, situating himself, knowing exactly where he was: one of the interminable number of hallways in the labyrinth that is the TVA. And when he was: right after cleaning himself up in a communal Temporal Core shower and putting on a fresh pair of clothes, following the time when they first ‘fixed’ his time slipping.
Mobius watches him with concern, probably fearing Loki wasn’t back to normal after all.
“Where do you sleep?” Loki asks.
“What?”
“Sleep. Rest. Where do you get it from?” O.B. had mentioned getting no sleep once, so surely everyone else in the TVA did get sleep? Like normal people do? He realized that after all his time here, he didn’t really know; he’d napped here and there at random corners of the premises, but never in an actual, proper bed. There’d been no time for that.
“Well—I mean, I have an assigned room?”
“Perfect. Take me to it.”

Set in a mix of the Book Universe & the TV Universe, Murderbot and the PresAux crew are on another planetary survey mission.
