Neil Josten was known for being nice to people. His nice blue eyes and nerdy glasses, his soft features. Neil isn’t one to devil in stereotypes but his hair is red and so is his temper if you say something to any of his friends.
Andrew Minyard was known for being rude. His brown eyes somehow had the ability to stare at you like you were in the wrong for asking a question. His blonde hair and his laid back stance was nothing on his attitude.
So while they went to the same school,had more or less the same friends, they had never met. And Palmetto University would like to keep it that way.

Summary
In front of him, Riko turns, disguising his motion as a simple chair adjustment. His eyes lock with Kevin’s and narrow in warning. Kevin inclines his head subtly to show he understands the message: don’t make me look bad.
As if he would ever do that.
It’s strange, not sharing a stand with Riko. The Maestro has paired them in every ensemble they’ve ever been in for the past decade. But Riko’s part is so different from Kevin’s that he has to have his own stand, front and center, where everyone can see him. He’s the main character of the piece; Kevin is just a backup dancer.
Kevin still hasn’t gotten used to not having his brother at his side. He finds himself glancing over during rehearsals, expecting to see Riko frowning at their shared score, and when he’s not where he’s supposed to be, Kevin’s cheeks flush, and he quickly looks away. It’s been an adjustment, one Kevin won’t miss when the performance is over and they’re moving onto auditions for the next concert.
Kevin and Riko play violin at Edgar Allen University. Riko is the best, Kevin second. People are starting to realize that might no longer be true.
