Or Zim is in a funk and Gaz doesn't like it. So she pushes him to get the best thing against his leaders, Revenge.

“We literally just watched you commit it, Zim!” Tallest Purple cries, gesturing to the giant memory screens – all of them displaying the handful of moments Zim had been so deeply embedded in, just moments ago. “That human – you agreed to help him protect his planet! The planet you were in charge of Encoding!”
This story picks up right where Canon Event left off - during Zim's Defection trial. How the hell does Zim plan to get out of this mess? Defection means death, and we can't have that! He needs to get back to the Dib!

Summary
While on a family vacation that he’d much rather not be on, Dib encounters a strange being in the woods. This being’s name is Wander, or so he claims, and he wound up on this planet by complete accident after falling through a wormhole. He won’t tell Dib what exactly he is, and he dodges every question about his home planet.
As much as Dib would love to dissect this thing and figure out what it is, other things preoccupy his mind. Zim has been planning something, something big, and Dib fears that this might actually be the time Zim’s plan succeeds. If only there was a way to destroy the Irken Empire once and for all…
Meanwhile, the Irkens catch wind of this wormhole and the creatures that fell through it. Specifically, there is one remaining member of a species they destroyed several millennia ago. This species possessed powers beyond Irken understanding, and now, the newest Irken leaders agree that they would love to get their hands on these powers.

Dib records his latest “proof” of alien activity, ranting into his equipment while the world moves on without him. Society has dismissed the idea of invasion years ago; he’s slowly losing hope. Cut to Zim: still on Earth, unhinged but hiding it behind bravado. He’s planning a “final operation” to impress the Tallests. The weapon is powerful — planetary-level. Although, Zim's confidence in destruction feels...off. Dib tracks Zim to the secluded place where the weapon is being assembled. A confrontation that feels familiar but heavier — they’re older...exhausted. Zim mocks Dib for still caring. Dib calls him a failure. Something about Zim’s desperation feels different — less arrogant, more scared.

Dib has had a terrible week and fallen into a bad headspace. Zim wants to get back to their normal routine, and get Dib out of his schmoopy act.. Irkens aren't experienced with human emotion, and it seems he has only scraped the surface of what dib is really going through.this is just gonna be a quick thing I think :]

Dib is cold and harsh, embracing the change in their dynamic whilst Zim is avoidant and quiet, desperately trying to return to how they were. Gaz and Gir team up to try and get the boys to work things out. Tons of silliness follows.

—ZiM… Si tú y yo no tuviéramos que ser enemigos, si no tuviéramos diferentes ideales y metas ¿Crees que podríamos haber sido buenos amigos? — Tras eso Dib escucho por primera vez una auténtica carcajada de diversión provenir de ZiM. Bueno, de su ZiM.
—¿Tu y ZiM? ¿Amigos? Incluso si no tuviera una misión que cumplir, no sería amigo de un mono terrestre como tu
—Ugh… olvídalo. Sabía que sería imposible
—¡Suficiente! ¿Que sucede contigo gusano? Has estado actuando raro desde que regresaste de la dimensión de castigo.
—Lo se... —Dijo Dib, sonando frustrado y suspiro antes de darse la vuelta e irse sin decir nada más.
ZiM en un intento por deshacerse de Dib crea un artefacto que lo enviaría a una dimensión de perdición, donde llovían cristales del cielo, y el calor era abrazador, pero como siempre su plan tuvo un ligero fallo y en lugar de aparecer en el lugar destinado a su muerte, despertó de nuevo en el laboratorio de ZiM, pero sin ser el laboratorio de ZiM, oh bueno no el de su ZiM.
¿Lo más extraño? Lo cercano que parece actuar este ZiM, llamándolo entre apodos no tan ofensivos como a los que esta acostumbrado.
