Why would he let his one chance escape him when he is that close?” the being smiled down at Wukong. “He’s The Intelligent Stone Monkey. We all wear masks sometimes. Real ones are with the kid you overlooked.”
A golden beam of light shoots into the air. “The ritual? They’ve started the ritual! Sun Wukong, what’ve you done?!”
“I told them to wait!” The vessel takes a step forward. “Stop! If you hurt that kid, I’ll-”
“What? Kill the other one? I wouldn’t harm them intentionally. You don’t know who I am and yet you judge me.”
