As his gaze inspected the room it stopped and remained on a tall lanky man who looked like he was in need of a haircut. He felt like he had seen him before. That face rang a bell... But he couldn't place it. He sat with another man at a table close to the counter. They talked with a third man, who was standing. Seemingly the owner. He turned back to his drink. If he was anybody from his past life, he didn't want to be recognised by him anyway. Bad enough that he had to drink cheap whiskey now. No one had to watch him do so as well.
