Summary
After a long shift at Spudsy's, Pomni is stuck thinking about her encounter with Gummigoo. After somehow ending up back in the Candy Kingdom, the two of them reunite and she soon discovers that she may like him a lot more than she originally thought.
Meanwhile in the Circus, the others struggle to decipher Pomni's sudden disappearance. Caine is stuck in a software update so he isn't aware of this predicament.

It was something Raph used to say with hope in his chest - freedom, strength, the promise of rising above it all. But after the Krang invasion, after he tore their corruption from his eye with his bare hands, the meaning began to change.
At first, it was little things. Fatigue he couldn’t shake. Muscles that refused to obey. A weight in his chest that grew heavier by the day. The Krang may have lost, but they didn’t leave without a final gift, one that’s been festering inside him ever since. A parting curse.
Now, the wings he dreamed of don’t look like salvation. They look like surrender. A quiet exit from a body breaking down. The price of survival. The cost of being the one who always endures.
The question is no longer if he’ll grow wings.
It’s when-
And whether they’ll carry him to freedom…
…or bury him in the end.

But the longer she stands there the more doubt shrouds her mind, and so in a last minute decision, born out of panic, frustration, fear and sadness...
