Summary
Years after fleeing his home country, Gavin is still haunted by everything he left behind in a losing battle against a fascist regime. Now in jail awaiting trial for espionage, he’s never felt more powerless in a political landscape far outside of his control. He soon grows close with his cell mate, Trystan, who becomes a source of solace and protection, as well as trouble. Together they grapple with the uncertainties of their connection, their futures, and their pasts.
Author’s Note: As of June 2025, I have finished and am going back and doing edits and revisions. Because of this you may notice some minor inconsistencies between earlier and later chapters as I work my way through.
