I'm a fucking idiot who decided to make bowser x luigi. Therefore this exists. Never written on Ao3 before-
A storm hits the mushroom kingdom heavily and a stork dropped an egg made to be dropped off to the Koopa kingdom, on Luigis damn doorstep. (That stork should be fired btw) so luigi cares for it until the storm passes, then he does research and finds out it's a Koopa egg. -Lil bro is fucked hah- so he tries to sneak into the kingdom and find the parent without giving away his identity. (He fails)
Summary: stork is bad at job, luigi takes egg to the enemy. Enemy decides to keep him for a while. Mario is confused but nobody cares bc it's not his story. Also who tf is grammar? Don't know her. Btw there's lore and shit now do hah- yay-

Luigi hasn't ever gone with Mario on his adventures to the loopa kingdom, his brother insisting that that was the one place too dangerous for the omega in green. This world didn't have secondary genders and roles like their old one, but instead had their own rendition of soulmates. It was rare ti ever find them, but Mario got lucky as to find his, leaving his brother longing for that same luck. One day, some shy guys fuck up their jobs and kidnap Luigi because him and peach were playing dress-up for shits and giggles- now bowser decides he likes green better than pink anyways-

He trained for a year to get back into his mind state he once had when younger during those self defense classes. Turns out he makes a pretty damn good assassin or spy. Too good. Because when the mushroom kingdom takes the Koopa King's youngest as a ransom, Luigi gets a job from that very King, to track down the kid and kill whoever took him. The pay is perfect, and the advances royalty can give him ti return to Brooklyn are perfect. Let the show begin ;))
