    His sweatshirt is still covered in blood, and soaked from the rain, but he ignores this. It’s fine. He’s fine. He’s the same calm, level-headed Tim he’s always been. So he plans.

    Tim is a murderer. He murdered someone. It's an unchangeable, unshakeable fact...but no-one else knows about it. No-one knows what Tim has done. And if he’s smart, and careful, no-one ever will.

    All he has to do is learn to live with it.

    The BatFam has reached an Impasse, with Jason running Crime Alley as Red Hood and the rest of them just kind of ignoring it as long as Hood doesn't kill outside his territory.

    Tim thinks it's bullshit and is hell bent on getting the family to reconcile – even if it kills him (which it probably might).

    When Tim shows up on Jason's roof, punch drunk and dying, the ex-Robin winds up saving his Replacement and suddenly has to deal with the consequences of his choices (and so does everyone else)...

    Hell would be the only thing that could explain that he was here after being snapped to dust on Titan, right?

    Peter smiled, “Thank you, Stephen.” The name felt odd coming out of his mouth.

    The laugh was slight, barely even one. “Still feels weird.” Stephen smiled; it was small and didn’t cause the edges of his eyes to crease.

    “I’ll see you around.”

    The Magician stared at him, eyes mourning something already lost. “Good luck kid.”

    Never Meet Your Hero's (They'll Never Be What You Think) by

    Tim always heard that you should never meet your heroes.

    Apparently, they would almost always disappoint you.

    But, Tim always thought that his hero was the exception.

    Tim remembered a time when he would've been ecstatic to be in the presence of Jason Todd. But, that was before.

    Jason Todd, the version Tim admired at least, was dead.

    In his place was the Red Hood.

    And, if anyone knew anything about the Red Hood, it’s that he hated the newest Robin with every fiber of his being.

    These days, the very thought of having to be in his very presence would send Tim spiraling. Not that he would ever tell that to Dick, or God forbid Bruce. The pair wouldn't admit it, well Dick might actually, but they desperately wanted Jason to come back into the family.

    Both put up a front like they hated the Red Hood, but Tim is more perceptive than they give him credit for.

    But that’s okay.

    Tim knows that he is an afterthought.

    A replacement.
