“Don’t be afraid, lil bunny, I won’t eat you.” Vander’s hot, alcohol-soaked breath slides down Silko’s neck, and all he can do is nod, not risking speaking with a suddenly parched throat. The warmth of Vander's body makes something in his system go nuts, as Silco feels his cheeks blush and the familiar feeling of need flare up in his stomach.
When he is pressed against Vander in this manner, the difference in their sizes becomes painfully obvious again. Silco feels literally tiny compared to the mountain of muscles pressing on him.

Summary
At the edges of isle of Zaun at the bay leading to its biggest port, the Lanes, stands a lighthouse many consider cursed. People manning it go missing, come home maddened with fear, or drift ashore dead one day. There are rumors of a monster lurking in the waters, a vengeful entity that takes its rage on whoever dares to step in to the cursed watchtower.
However, as yet another soul ventures to man the guiding light, the monster soon finds himself hunted instead, the predator becoming the prey.
There are no wolves in Zaun, only a man.

By all accounts, Vander should have stopped himself from saying anything with an ease that an alpha in his prime was bound to have when dealing with an omega over thirty, mateless and pupless, clearly undesirable by anyone of his kind. The same way as if said omega had a dark mark on him, shooing everyone away like deeply sick and contagious. He should have had no trouble walking away from him.
