So when that ends up changing, he has a lot of feelings about it.After an ill planned attempt on his life and a subsequent discovery, he finds himself in a world turned upside down, with the only person there to help being the same guy he could have sworn he just killed two months prior.
Aka: David Leatherhoff becomes the modern day Franbow and accidentally adopts 3 mentally ill teenagers in the process of keeping them alive. He thinks this is fucked, the world agrees.

Summary
Against all odds, Jon figures out a way to reverse the apocalypse - a Web and Spiral domain that should be able to send him back in time. In order to make things as uncomplicated as possible, the plan is for him to travel back to just before the apocalypse started.
Instead he wakes up in 1995, in his eight-year-old body.
Stuck in the past at an age when nobody will take him seriously, Jon will have to team up with some of his worst enemies if he wants to survive to see the future he knows... and unfortunately, things just keep on getting more complicated from there.

Elias’ smile did not dissipate from the cool and collected visage that screamed of seeing him (evaluating him (testing him (knowing him))). “No, I suppose you don’t,” he replied simply, going back to signing the document his employee had handed off. “You’re not in trouble, Martin, believe me. Just...” Those eyes flicked up to keep Martin still. Something inside the assistant reeled back at the sight.
“Just you keep your area clear of webs. Jonathan isn’t quite fond of spiders, I’ll have you know.”

“No lungs and he huffs like a drama queen,” Noel muses. Arthur’s eyes snap to Noel’s face and he can feel the icy daggers in those pretty golden eyes. He grins back. “Hey, I’m impressed. Means every sigh, every huff, every harrumph–” that earns a dry chuckle from Arthur, “–is entirely intentional.”
Arthur’s smiling now. “He says he’s got other tricks up his sleeve..?”
“Let’s hear it,” Noel says, just as John’s hand rises from the coffee cup and flips him off. “Wow. Classy, John.”

Arthur Lester and John Doe reappear in New York City, dishevelled and lost. Noel's thought about them every day since they left. Less plot-driven, more exploratory relationship study, following Noel and co. as they try to make the broken pieces of their lives fit together.
