Summary
Katsuki and Izuku have been friends for as long as they can remember, nearly every day spent at the beach or when Katsuki takes his fishing boat out. Everyone claimed they were destined to be mates, but even after years of pining, they still denied their feelings to their (increasingly concerned) friends. But what will happen when their most common excuse - being separated by the sea - is rendered null by Izuku being turned human? It’s a race against time trying to help Izuku, and the insecurities that both have been keeping hidden all this time. Is this curse a blessing in disguise, or will these fluctuating emotions be their undoing?

Tony hummed happily, swinging his and Bucky’s clasped hands as they walked through the town square. He smiled when Bucky brought them up to place a kiss on the top of his hand. “You happy, baby?” Bucky asked, and Tony hummed again, his smile growing as he took in their surroundings.
The square was bustling with people, the air filled with excitement as they went from stall after stall at the festival. The street lamps had just turned on, and there were strings of lights hanging between the trees to keep the area lit up as nighttime fell. The smell of fried food and sweets was all around them, and Tony's belly was full of all the treats he’d indulged in that afternoon.

Katsuki Bakugo had plenty of reasons why he wasn't mated yet, not that he was going to explain why to just anyone. But now, Ground Zero was running out of time. If he didn't find someone soon, he'd lose his position as a Pro-Hero and he'd never get to be #1. So, when he finds out there's a male Omega recently arrested for prostitution that's headed to prison if he too doesn't get a mate…well it must be fate.
Izuku Midoriya doesn't know if he should laugh or cry when his childhood bully shows up in front of his jail cell asking him to be his mate. He also didn't know if it was good or bad that Kacchan didn't seem to recognize him, but fate hasn't been kind to him before so why should it start now?
