Summary
There are many highlights of being in a relationship with Elphaba Thropp. She is sweet and caring and gives Galinda all of her attention. Galinda gets to fall asleep in the security of her arms with her heartbeat drumming in her ears and she gets to see her wake up in the early light of the morning. In those moments Galinda gets to appreciate all the details of her. The way freckles cover her cheeks like constellations. The way she scrunches her nose before she wakes up. The way the gap in her teeth shows when Galinda makes her laugh. But during those early mornings as Galinda is held in her arms, she finds what she appreciates most is the feeling of safety. And she has to admit that feeling is reinforced by the strength in those arms.

"I'll stitch you up when you are back to consciousness" she mumbled, completely wrapped up in the dressing of the wound. So much so that she did not notice the voice that addressed her, at first.
A female voice with a very distinct American accent. The voice sounded exhausted, parched, low, but strong.
"If you're talking to me, you're going to have to speak English sweetheart"
Caitlyn's eyes widened as she looked up from dressing the wound and cerulean eyes found the greyest ones she had ever seen, sending a rush through her that she was unfamiliar with.
Then, Caitlyn spoke.
English this time, laced with a light French accent.
"I told you your wound would need to be stitched up when you were to wake" she simply informed her, ignoring how heart her started pounding yet again.

“Tempt you, huh…?” Kafka repeats the last part of her sentence, her voice dropping into a sensual drawl Himeko has never heard before. Something mysterious flashes through her smile, dangerous, and yet Himeko doesn’t see the warning signs while Kafka hums.
“What makes you say that?”
“The way you speak to me. It’s not normal, and you know it.”
She notices her body going still for a second before Kafka is chuckling at her words, as if what she just saw was a part of her imagination. “You got me there.”
