The fire ninja looked up from the note in the direction of the noise, he froze when he saw Cole stirring in his sleep, luckily for him the earth ninja didn’t wake up and went back to sleep.
Kai waited and watched for what felt like minutes, making sure Cole didn’t wake up for real, the fire master then was about to make his, hopefully, silent escape, but something stopped him.
He looked at the sleeping figure of his crush best friend and frowned, Cole was always there for him, but now he couldn’t be there for Cole. -

He traveled across Crispia for many, MANY years, earning enough of money to buy food for himself. That was until he found a small group of freshbaked cookies chasing a Crowned Cake Hound. And he decides to stick around cuz…why not? He’s bored anyway. It’s not like he’s gonna get attached to them…right?
