Summary
The Doctor was in-between adventures, in-between arguments, and felt like she was in-between life. She needed something new to do when she stumbled upon a crack in-between the universes, it felt like a step in the right direction.
Shayla had two months and eight days until she graduated and actually started her life. She was on her third day of the last spring break of her undergrad year finishing her thesis when Jodi Whittaker, or her fucking twin, stumbled into her apartment claiming to be ‘Doctor Who’ and crashed on her couch. She never wanted any of this—she was content staying staying under the radar—but, the ended up getting swept into an adventure.

Summary

Summary
Under the sea, for hundreds of years, small colonies of merfolks lived peacefully. They were safe, wanting for nothing, and protected in their villages from the dangers of the land dwellers.
Airye knew straying to the surface was a bad idea, but her limits were never clear when it came to Krayse. Despite knowing that trouble followed her, Krayse's easy smile always overshadowed any risks. Now, with Krayse gone, snatched from the water by the land dwellers because of Airye’s stupid mistake, she knew she was her only shot at rescue. As long as she kept her secret safe, she would be able to blend in with the land dwellers, hopefully long enough to bring her friend back home.
(Or, a black little mermaid goes to surface to save her friend and gets adopted by Aizawa and Yamada along the way.)

But, at the same time, she enjoyed it. The exhilaration, the thrill. She yearned for another kill. The sight of blood was revolting and beautiful at the same time.

There's no cause, no reason, and no answers.
