My favorite pastime is designing semi-logical anatomy and physiology rules for nonhumans and Dante is no exception. Each chapter focuses on a different feature of his anatomy and a different headcanon surrounding it. Some are Darkcom lab rat exploration, some just Mary (And Dante. He doesn’t know what he is either) discovering things in the field.
ADD ON: I’ve gotten into the weeds with some of these chapters at this point so I’m gonna say it loud and clear: I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. Please do not use anything you might or might not learn in this fic for anything real. Not on you, not on anyone else. I just really like podcasts and learning about anatomy as a hobby, and then I like rearranging the pieces. Please do not rearrange your own pieces.

Summary
A combination of missing scenes, post game head canon, and possibly some AU centered around the premise that Ashley and Leon get trauma bonded and support each other during and after the game. Not a romantic relationship, though loving, so feel free to bring your goggles.
Their constant checking in with each other during the gameplay broke me okay.

Summary
An AU branch of sorts inside which Shani finds the life mate she's always wanted in Eskel and Eskel finds out he has just about as much prowess as a budding medic as he does a witcher. His mutations make him perfectly equipped to save lives, and bonding with Shani gave him new purpose as the era of Witchers died away.
In this AU, Shani and Regis pair their knowledge and Eskel's willingness to be a study subject and write a whole new chapter on medicine, cardiac medicine in particular. Shani also invents a stethoscope out of this research.

Post-Season 1, with the tides of battle final turning against humanity, Mary is given the directive to unfreeze Dante and bring him into humanity's war effort. It's remains to be seen whether he'll cooperate.
