In a split second, Vi felt as though her skin was rubbed with sandpaper, while God and Satan were clawing at her guts from opposite sides. She did not look like any of those posed ladies, in their summer skirts and dresses, with hairdos all neatly done. She had suit pants on, for crying out loud, while these people were over here with their shoulders out. Scandalous.
Then Vi’s gaze locked on her, the woman with the eyepatch. Caitlyn Kiramman, laughing with her perfect friends and sipping coffee like it was peace itself. She looked just like the news clips: calm, polished, untouchable. Vi’s shirt clung to her back, shivers running up her spine. Of course Piltover’s favorite cop was here, looking like she ran the place. Vi stuffed her hands in her pockets and braced herself. This wasn’t her crowd.
OR
caitlyn and vi meet at jayce's birthday party and they both add fuel to each other's fire in the worst and best way possible, until the fuse of unresolved tension pops.
