Summary
Jason returned after three months of endless missions with the outlaws, to his favorite safe-house. No neighbors, The perfect entrance and exit to the building with no nosy onlookers. Did he mention no neighbors to hear him clumping around with his heavy uncomfortable boots at odd hours of the night? Because that feels like the most important part.
Except, something was off, something he couldn’t quite put his finger on. It set off all paranoia that’s been ingrained in every last cell on his body for the past 20 years of his life.
It took him some thorough searching of his apartment, the alleyway and hall. But he finally figured it out.
He had a neighbor.

You work the overnight shift, you work typically 10 pm to 6 am, five days a week.
Not an issue most places.
However, you woke up in Gotham with no way home.
And they get up to the most interesting of things.
You haven't had an issue in the 4 years of being here. just 3 working the gas station "First Stop."
Until now, when the events of the crazed Arkham knight unfold and Batman goes missing. you're scheduled to work the night shift.
Because you've never known a lucky day of your life.

“What are you playing at, Lantern?” Batman’s lips are pulled into a frown, and his tone is searching, prodding– like he’s trying to see if Hal is joking or genuinely knows.
Hal raises his hands in mock surrender to show he means no harm. “Look, the code of capes, masks, and cowls: I won’t tell anyone your civilian identity.” He smiles. “I’m just letting you know that I know so that you know I’m the smartest in the League.”
“What are you talking about?” Batman applies the same tactic as earlier.
“Well, you’re the smartest, I digress– so maybe I’m the second smartest, but finding out your identity? C’mon Brucie, give me some credit, it’s pretty impressive.”
“Don’t call me that.”
