Then, the sun disappeared from behind the horizon. You looked up to the night sky and saw thousands of tiny stars, square as they were too. You sat down and stared. You didn't stop staring, absolutely amazed, until you heard a loud hissing sound behind you.
You whip your head around and see the biggest spider you've ever encountered just six feet away. It had eight long rectangular legs to pair with it's eight glowing brown eyes, and fangs that had to be the size of a human finger. It was the same hight as you, which is absolutely terrifying, and twice the width and length.

Percy's not really sure how he ended up here. The last thing he remembers is going to sleep in his cabin at Camp Half-Blood, only to open his eyes somewhere in Korea, in the middle of an apocalypse. And the worst thing is that it's not even the weirdest situation he's ever found himself in; at least this time, his memories are intact.
It's nice that his dad is here, too. He could do without the twitch stream but really, to him, it's basically just another friday.

So, instead of deciding to re-do his childhood But Better, he decides that this whole Mortal Hero thing is just NOT for him. So, instead, he decides to do as his kind-of-sibling Nereus does, and become a Hermit. Hell, he even makes his Mortality burn away faster than it had in the Before, so he CAN'T become the Child of Prophesy this time!
His plan is absolutely foolproof!

Summary
When Percy and Annabeth went on a date to a new Ancient Greek exhibit at their local museum, they thought it would be a fun little outing. The plan was simple, enjoy their spring break before heading back to New Rome to finally graduate. The would go together, maybe get some overpriced lunch, make fun of the terrible depictions of their parents', the norm. What they did not sign up for was a one way express pass into past via one very angry sentient statue. Separated, angry, and on very different ground then they are used to, the two of them have to navigate gods that are more wild then they are used to, and pray that Percy doesn't get smote for his smart mouth.

Percy does a dumb and he and Annabeth have to suffer for it. She ends up on the floating islands, he ends up on his Brothers'. Percy joins the crew and Politis (my beloved) lives. Annabeth plays hide and seek with the wind God. Left off with the two seeing eachother for the first time since this adventure
