Summary
"It all started with grief...grief and a little girl."
Prince Sidon sought to fill the vast void his sister had left behind, but in the wake of Hyrule's victory over the Calamity, he learned quickly that he could not even fill the void in his own heart. Struggling to accept his role as the future king, Sidon shoulders the burden of his people and the friends he has lost, though help unexpectedly comes his way in the form of a heroic Hylian, a beloved friend, and a little girl looking for a place to call home.

Born of their love came four more blessings: A King, a Queen, a Gift, and a Curse.
At least that was what the Goddesses had told him, and as King Sidon looked out into the Domain, he was afraid of their prophecy coming true. He was prepared to do anything for his children. He was prepared to die for them. But as Sidon turned away from the window and looked into the mirror, he could only frown.
Things had gotten so much more complicated in the last twenty-four hours.
"Are you alright?" Link asked, wrapping his arms intentionally around Sidon's waist.
"I'm...scared," Sidon admitted, "Yesterday, I was so sure of what I needed to do and now..."
"I know," Link sighed holding him tighter before taking hold of his hands. Sidon forced himself to look into his husband's eyes as Link added, "But I'm not going anywhere. We'll get through this together."
"You promise?"
"I promise."

Summary
When Zelda was first unexpectedly thrown into the ancient era, she had no idea what horrors would await her. Granted, she never meant for any of this to happen in the first place.
Needless to say, as Zelda gained her bearings and set a course to head home, the last thing on her mind was the people who stood behind Hyrule's oldest of fairytales.
So yes, Zelda was taken aback by the character and nature of Hyrule's first and most ancient Hero. Mainly because he was a lot like a lost dog. And he was - somehow - the son of Rival Kings, Rauru and Ganondorf.

Summary
Hyrule is devastated after the Calamity. All five Champions died and the princess sacrificed her life to seal Ganon away.
But that was a hundred years ago.
Now, Hyrule is covered in trees, a massive forest grew after all five races split away from one another in hatred and spite. Gerudos blocked off the canyon entrance. Gorons only allow licensed traders into their territory. Ritos shoot down anyone who comes into their territory. Hylians have locked their people away in the Castle City and have guards kill anyone who goes near Central Hyrule. Zoras have lost their monarchy, turning into feral beasts that kill and feed on flesh. And Sheikahs, well, everyone believes that they abandoned the country all together.
Yet somehow, Link doesn't remember hearing about any of it.
The blonde Hylian woke up in a strange place with no memory of anything. Even after traveling for a while, he still has no answers to anything about his past or who he is.
But he hopes to find his answers with the help of a killer red Zora. Who doesn't kill him, by the way, but instead decides to help him.

Summary
Link couldn't be sure if he was always this way; was he even remotely the same person he was 100 years ago? He was quite sure the boy he'd been had died and come back a monster, a hollow shell of bitterness and rage, blunt in every aspect but the ones that made him a perfect killer. Who remained that could offer him the truth? It felt as though everyone that had truly known him took those answers with them, leaving his life a tattered patchwork of various endings. He saw no reason not to simply allow Hyrule to come to an end as well. There was only one person in his life that offered kindness and comfort, asking nothing in return, one person that could make him feel something, rather than nothing, one person who seemed to represent a beginning, rather than an ending.

Summary
He could have left it there. It was a monster, it could've most certainly defended itself and grew up on it's own, or last until a blood moon would revive it's mother. Bringing it with him would just cause him more trouble along the way, especially with the Divine Beasts. However.. there's enough guilt in his gut for slaying it's mother as it is. This is the only way he knows to make it right.
