She turned around and was met by something very disturbing. In front of her was a large tank-like pod filled with luminous blue liquid, the teen girl stood there stupefied at the sight of herself, tubes from big to small were all attached to her back and limbs, but what horrified her the most was the long black gash lining on her chest to her abdomen, black veins surrounding it.
Marcy felt herself shaking, ears started to ring violently, she couldn't breath her chest starting to throb painfully once more.
"A-Am I dead?"
or Marcy is a ghost and she doesn't know what to do.

Summary
Things were finally settling into some sort of normalcy. A year after the creation of the new Honmoon, Rumi finds herself getting anxious and nervous about the potential for a new threat. There was no assurance that this new Honmoon was strong enough to keep demons from their world. So, she decides to start training with the powers bestowed upon her by her demon heritage. And it's good that she did, because weak spots begin to appear across the city once again.
That, and the news is reporting sightings of all three of them in locations where people were going missing. None of this makes any sense, but Rumi isn't the only one that decides to improve herself.

Mira wants her to stop running. Zoey wants her to stop explaining away their affection. Rumi wants to stop being afraid of having everything she's ever wanted.
(Or, 5 times Rumi convinces herself she's not dating Mira and Zoey +1 time she finally accepts it.)

Summary
Throughout the years, the HUNTR/X has stayed together. Hunting demons, playing games, singing, or simply taking a break.
Sometimes throughout those years, Rumi doesn't act complete human, despite her trying to hide her demon heritage as best as she could with long sleeves.
Her actions are endearing to her friends though, even when she... does too much, in her own opinion.
But why does her soul and body react positively sometimes when with them? And why the hell does she want to claw a fan's face off when they flirt with one of them?
TL;DR, Rumi has no idea some of her actions is her demon side are basically just telling Mira and Zoey that they're her mates or something else. And her body isn't fully human, not just the markings.
Chaos ensues. More so when it's revealed.

“They’re…” What was with Mira today? It was like she couldn’t even complete a sentence when she was often so witty. In fact, being chill was her whole persona. Right now, she was being the complete opposite! “…out.” Rumi can’t help but allow an amused smile break out across her features, a small snicker escaping her lips as well.
OR: The six times Rumi cannot figure out for the life of her why Mira and Zoey are so obsessed with her demon marks and the one time she does.
