Bruce looked to the mantlepiece, where a candid photo of the family sat. Dick stood in the middle of the frame, his mouth open and eyes twinkling as Bruce lit candles on a cake next to Jason that said ‘it’s alive’ while Dick deliberately called Frankenstein’s monster ‘The Frankenstein Monster’.
“She presents similar geometric angles during those facial expressions to other faces that I find pleasing,” said Bruce.
“Okay, I don't know what the hell that means,” said Dick, “so I'm going to be charitable and take that as a yes.”
Bruce believes he’s finally found himself the perfect girlfriend for his life as Brucie Wayne in the public eye. Cynthia Edwards. She’s fun, she’s attractive, and most importantly: doesn’t ask too many questions. He decides he wants the rest of the family to meet her, so he invites her round to the family dinner.
Nobody will notice how much she resembles Dick Grayson.
