“You’d get in trouble, it’s against regulations!” Eren counters with a huff, mouth twisting into the beginning of a snarl. It feels like that night too, trying to beat some fucking sense through that stupidly thick skull of his. ‘Always barking up the wrong damn tree.’
“If I claimed it as the only reasonable method to tame a feral omega going around stabbing people, I’d be let off with a mere slap on the wrist and a fucking congratulations for stopping your rampage.”
It's been years since Levi last saw Eren, knowing the pup is alive somewhere but unable to find him.
Then he spots those gleaming forest eyes in the Training Corps.
He can't let him slip away again.

“So, do I have to come back another time?” Hange asks, cocking their head towards Eren.
Levi sighs as he looks his dog over, contemplating. Eren blinks, head tilting, ear flopping the other way. Why is Hange here then? Not to just hang out? Levi mentioned a surprise earlier…
“No, we can go through with it, he hasn’t eaten since I left this morning, so he won’t aspirate while under.”
“Ooh, did your research, huh?” Eren blinks when a hand is extended towards him, fingers flicking back and forth. He stares for a moment before setting his chin in the surprisingly soft palm of the other. Chuckling fills the air. “No, no, silly, your paw,” they clarify. Oh. Eren lifts his bound arm up, elbow placed in Hange’s hand.
He doesn’t expect them to begin removing the bindings keeping his arms as short limbs. Immediately, he whines and looks towards Levi.
“Let Hange do as they please,” he instructs, gaze never once leaving Eren as his right arm is released from its restraint. Immediately, aching pain stabs through his muscles, face scrunching up as he whines and leans away. “Stop making a fuss, you’re perfectly fine.”
A dog always obeys their owner.

"Out," Levi growls, taking a step back. Now that the alpha isn't in his face as much, Eren swallows at the realisation that he isn't exactly wearing any clothes. And it is painfully obvious he's in rut.
"This is Eren," Hange introduces, tugging Eren over with a pull on his sleeve. They're answered by a displeased growl and flash of fangs as Levi returns to the meticulously crafted nest of fabrics and pillows in the middle of the room. It's… a very nice looking nest…
The beta leans in to whisper, "He's just mad because he doesn't want a mate even though he needs one."

A low bone-rattling growl pierces the air, thick and heavy. Eren feels a shiver racing up his spine, a zing of energy that zaps through his core and makes his crotch throb and pulse.
He turns and looks at the far corner of the treatment room, spotting the man from yesterday.
He's white-knuckling the bed frame, glaring daggers at them both with a near animalistic sneer upon his face. "Get him out."

This time, the boy lifts his head, hair clinging to his forehead as water trickles past his determined, glimmering eyes. “I wanted to explore the seas, that’s all! Zeke wouldn’t let me go on a single voyage, so I took matters into my own hands.”
