Summary
JcJenson, a military corp & government agency, experimented on people for the purpose of making humans stronger for battle & war. Several experiments were done, several were killed or injured. After JcJenson figured out that testing on living humans wasn't working, they moved to another source, the unborn. Testing on pregnant women wasn't exactly the most legal option, but it was for the greater good, as they say. Most of the women died during these tests, especially after birth. The children, who were genetically modified, were then left to be raised in facilities, to be trained for battle.
Uzi works on one of these bases, building guns for their use. She visits one of the younger drones on the regular, giving them small gifts and talking to them. However, she finds herself in an odd situation, mostly her fault, and somehow becomes friends with one of these drones, and eventually two more. Will their relationship bloom into something more?

It's bad enough being stuck in the circus for who knows how long, but when you're running on empty it gets downright unbearable. Some strive to forge connections with the other trapped souls, only for their friends to lose their minds and abstract.
Jax doesn't want that same fate. So to isolate himself, he puts up a wall; a façade of meanness and cynicism.
His plan is perfectly simple: bully everyone into hating him, so he doesn't become attached to anyone and therefore won't be dragged down with them if they abstract. Perfectly simple.
But with little to no true human connection for so many years, it's only a matter of time before his masterplan falls through...
