“Anyway, enough about me, how long have you two been a couple?” Gabriel asked after a long monologue that Crowley couldn’t recall, even if his life depended on it.
Crowley’s mind reeled, struggling to process the question. He glanced at Aziraphale, whose face was slowly turning various shades of pink, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
“Oh, we're not—” Aziraphale began to stammer. “We are not a couple, just friends.” He finally finished, striking the proverbial knife in Crowley’s heart.
Ever oblivious, Gabriel chuckled. “Maybe he could be good for you, Aziraphale. You surely could benefit from his influence.” He said, eyes clearly in the direction of Aziraphale’s stomach, encased in an old-fashioned tan waistcoat for the evening.
Aziraphale let out a laugh that sounded forced and uncomfortable. “Oh, only if we weren't incompatible.”
Crowley felt a pang in his chest. What was that about? The words cut deeper than he cared to admit, but he masked it with a nonchalant grin.

"It's here!" Crowley exclaimed, shutting the front door of her flat.
"What's here?" Aziraphale's voice called from the bedroom.
“Our new equipment,” Crowley raised her eyebrows.
“Equipment? What are you talking about, dear girl?” Aziraphale asked, then her gaze fell on the box in Crowley's hands. “Oh!”
“Yep!” Crowley opened the lid of the box to reveal its contents to Aziraphale.
Inside the box were two items: a few satin black elastics and a pink silicone cylinder. The top of the cylinder was shaped like a heart, while the bottom was designed to attach securely to the elastics.
“Ready to lose your virginity, Angel?” Crowley winked.
“My dear girl, we’ve discussed this many times. I'm not... Oh! You’re teasing me, aren’t you? You demon!” Aziraphale playfully slapped Crowley's arm.

Aziraphale has been wounded while defending innocent civilians and summarily sentenced to death via wandering in the desert for his actions, but when he stumbles upon Crowley’s house by chance, his luck changes rapidly.
Crowley is a strange and skittish man who lives alone, tucked in amongst a collection of medicinal herbs, broken pottery, and torn blankets.
When the reason for Crowley’s caution and odd behaviour is revealed, Aziraphale can think of nothing he’d rather do than try to help him free himself from his tragedy, and the two embark upon a tender romance which will change both of their lives for the better.
