"But your name is not the only thing your great-grandfather left you with," he said, looking at him again. He seemed… a bit weary. Old. Almost vulnerable, if only for a second. "The family has an old estate in Europe. It's been our ancestral home for many generations until the family made the decision to move overseas three generations ago, after your great-grandaunt… passed away. It's called Weissbart Castle, and when you turn sixteen, it will be yours."
Bryd wasn't sure he heard that right. "Wh-what?"
His father gave him an irritated glance. "Where is your head today? I hope I don't have to repeat myself. Your great-grandfather left you Weissbart. While we haven't been living there for a long while, it has always been staffed and maintained, so it should be in perfect condition. According to the stipulations of the will - and to the family customs - you will have to spend your birthday there. It's just a formality, but I don't see why we shouldn't observe the tradition," his father said, like it was self-explanatory.
His birthday was only three days away.

Summary
As it turned out, for the two of them, breakfast was some juicy survival burgers. Sebastian was another matter.
“What exactly is that?” Harvey asked suspiciously as Demetrius pulled out a large mason jar of… some incredibly pink paste. It had small flecks of… brown and green in it, but it was disturbingly pink.
“I’ve visited that new farmer early today to set up his cave for mushroom production, and since I was already there, I grabbed the chance to have a little trade… It’s mostly bug meat with some cave carrots and green algae mixed in. I sent it through the food processor a few times to get it as smooth as possible.”
Harvey wasn’t so hungry anymore.

Summary
Harvey half-expected that Sebastian would wise up and not show his face again, so he was quite surprised when the boy appeared only three days later in the waiting room. Thankfully Maru wasn’t in.
“How can I help you?” he asked carefully, though the young man didn’t look like he was back to complain about medical malpractice. Sebastian was pale – paler than usual – sweaty, and seemed slightly feverish.
“S-something’s wrong with me,” he said, uncertainty clean in his voice.
It was a bit concerning, but Harvey reminded himself that if Sebastian wasn’t so keen on having risqué sexual encounters in damp, cold caves he wouldn’t be here with what looked like a cold.

Summary
Harvey didn’t expect a patient to come barging into the clinic early in the morning. To be honest, he rarely expected patients other than the regularly scheduled check-ups – and he even had to keep reminding the townspeople to attend those…
He especially did not expect to see Sebastian in the waiting room.
If possible, he was his least favorite patient – what with the rudeness and the moods and him occasionally making Maru miserable. He’d suspected the young man had depression or some similar disorder, but in his book that was no reason to behave like he was still a petulant teenager.
“Sebastian, what a surprise! Can I help you with anything?” he asked, forcing himself to be professional. Now that he had time to take him in, Sebastian looked… worn. The usual dark circles were not under his eyes but he still somehow managed to look far from well rested. Maybe he just wandered in to get an Energy Tonic.
The boy stood in front of the counter for a long second, doing anything but meeting Harvey’s eyes, which was quite curious.

"So, you're going to ruin your niece's baby shower with flowers in the wrong color?" the florist, Stiles, asks when they reach the counter. He pulls out a binder and starts flipping through it.
"Not ruin. Mildly inconvenience," Peter says.
"Right, messing with a hormonal pregnant woman seems like a great plan."
"To be fair, her fiance and the father of her baby is my ex-boyfriend," Peter says. "And we weren't broken up when they started 'dating'."
Stiles looks up at him in surprise. "And you're still getting her flowers?" he asks.
"It's under duress, I assure you," Peter says. He absolutely wouldn't be here if his alpha hadn't ordered it.
"Well, shit, yeah, let's get you some purple revenge flowers," Stiles says.
