“I heard you. If you speak to me outside,” he repeated, “it’s not you. It’s not you.” Jayce paused, contemplating. “But Viktor, how do I know it’s you that’s speaking to me now?”
The voice remained quiet. One beat passed. Then two.
Jayce opened his mouth to say something, to accuse the voice of being a liar, but he was interrupted before he could utter a word.
“Hextech, we must stop it. I’m done with it, Jayce. If I say anything different…” The disembodied voice trailed off.
“What, Viktor? If you say anything different, what?”

Summary
