Summary
When Cas OD's, Jimmy decides that the only solution for his twin brother to quit using is that his family stays even closer together. But his plan is suddenly put in jeopardy when a guilt-stricken Dean decides to leave Lawrence to enlist in the US Navy, intending to become a Navy SEAL.
This time, though, Castiel follows him all the way to California once Dean is done with boot camp in Illinois, and then to Virginia where Petty Officer Winchester has to go through Green Team to earn his trident. When Dean is drafted to join Bravo Team, one of the most elite platoons of SEAL Team 6, neither he nor Cas knows what lies ahead.
Will they make it through deployments, loss, navigating injuries and PTSD? Can Castiel hold on to his shaky sobriety through it all? Or will the little white lies they keep from each other somehow make the life they’re building collapse around them?
TL;DR: what would’ve happened if the main plot that changed everything in Patient Love didn’t happen, and what would it mean for Dean and Cas and those they love?

Summary
What if after all is said and done, the Empty never takes Castiel away, and now all that's left for the Angel of the Lord is to face the music?
What if all that's left after beating Chuck is a whole world of opportunities, and nothing on the horizon to stop them?
What if after all is said and done, Dean and Cas settle in a relationship they both thought was out of their reach, never mind how much they both craved it?
The soft ending they deserved, and even more so: Freedom.
But it's never that simple... is it?

Summary
"Come on, let's make some little changes."
---
The sun is up when Dean opens his eyes; for years and years, the skilled hunter inside of him had this habit of chasing the sunrise. Driving as fast as possible toward the next case, his little brother in the seat next to him and more often than not, an angel on the bench behind them.
It takes time to unpack four decades of habits- more than Dean could’ve imagined, actually.
But now though… Now is a bit of a different story.

Summary
As a child, Castiel used to fall asleep with his mother telling him bedtime stories of the prophecy she had foreseen for him — how the Strawberry Moon would one day reveal the familiar he was destined to be with.
However, it’s been twelve years since the heart-wrenching day Castiel last saw the one he hoped was meant for him, and at twenty-eight, with his magic quickly dwindling, he knows better than to keep believing in such foolish dreams.
Castiel's resolve falters with the return of his long-ago teenage crush, Dean. The familiar’s evergreen eyes and rainbow aura are still as captivating, but his past is shrouded in mystery, one that could hold the answer to what drove them apart all those years ago.
Maybe the peculiar tabby cat who seems to have taken a liking to Castiel is what it takes to make Castiel believe in the moon with shades of pink again.

Summary
Dean Winchester has spent his whole life cleaning up his father's messes. Now that his little brother, Sam, is settled in California and Bobby's got a handle on the garage, they convinced Dean to finally do something for himself. After a chance encounter at the Air Force recruitment fair Sam dragged him to, Dean got hooked on air traffic control, and he gets stationed at Kansas City Tower for his final leg of training. There, he has to impress his on-job instructor Castiel Novak, the ex-Air Force captain who piqued his interest in ATC in the first place. (And only in ATC. He swears. Those blue eyes and dark hair and stupid hat have nothing to do with it.) If all that wasn't hard enough, just one week into his OJT, Dean gets a call telling him his father is dying and has to move back home to live out his final days-which could be more like years.
Dean has to decide whether to continue to let his life be defined by his father's mistakes and his misguided obligation to everyone else, or if he's brave enough-and strong enough-to find a life in his own shape.

Summary
After an explosive fight with his wife, Castiel Novak finds himself divorced and unemployed at thirty-four years old. Reduced to living with his cousin, Gabriel, he runs into the last person he expected to see: his ex-roommate and best friend, Dean Winchester. In a fit of generosity, Dean makes an offer to Castiel: move out of Gabriel’s house and into his. At least until Castiel gets back on his feet.
Living with Dean is easy, and almost immediately, Castiel and Dean fall back into their old friendship. And living with Dean awakens other feelings in Castiel, ones that he once thought impossible (doesn’t everyone appreciate the aesthetic qualities of their roommates?). But the specter of one disastrous night in college hangs over them both, making it impossible for them to truly reflect on their friendship–and maybe making it impossible for them to move forward into anything real.

Summary
Castiel Shurley doesn’t understand why an engineering major keeps showing up in his upper-level creative writing classes. He knows part of having a liberal arts education is taking things outside of your major, but who takes 400-level English courses for fun? And even more galling, his classmates keep gushing about his short stories. You would think Dean Winchester is the next Isaac Asimov.
Then Castiel finally gets assigned to peer edit one of Dean’s short stories… and he recognizes it. To be fair, it’s a great story. Too bad Dean didn’t write it. He stole it, lifted straight from a fanfic, with the serial numbers barely filed off.
