It’s maddening to Atsumu that he can’t get Sakusa to say more than two sentences to him, and Ushijima Wakatoshi gets multiple paragraphs and he’s not even there.
“Omi-kun, can ya stop talking about Toshi-san for like two seconds or will you explode?” Atsumu asks grumpily.

Summary
The last place on earth Sakusa Kiyoomi wants to be is on this godforsaken ship sailing across the seas to attend a boring science lecture, but it is a necessary evil if he wishes to avoid attending his grandmother's birthday celebrations.
That is, until his ship is boarded by a band of pirates and Kiyoomi finds himself in extremely unwanted company.
He can cope with most of the rambunctious crew; though they're armed to the hilt, they're relatively harmless.

"Two choices." The captain pressed down on his windpipe harder. "You stay my hostage, or I throw you back into the ocean."

There was something in the woods.
Sakusa Kiyoomi blinked, rubbed his eyes, and peered again through the rear window of his rental house. Perhaps it was the stress, or the sleep deprivation, or the two glasses of sake he’d had with dinner, but there, in the rich dark between the cypress trees, were two glowing amber eyes. Sakusa strained to make out details, but the creature’s light-colored form remained hazy in the shadows of the forest.
As he gazed out at the creature, he could only come to one sure conclusion.
It was watching him.

Atsumu likes it when things change. And he likes it when he can feel somebody else's presence with him. It clears the swarming thoughts in his brain and helps him feel tethered to the earth. He is usually able to get this feeling from his brother and his teammates, but there's one person that he desperately wants to feel tethered to. The one and only Sakusa Kiyoomi.

“What?” Touya was struggling to understand what had just transpired within the last two minutes, mind reeling from the sudden change of atmosphere and the fact that he’d just watched his consort murder someone.

And, as a cherry on top, now Kuroo is getting married and Kenma is invited to the wedding. He's not going. In fact he never plans on seeing Kuroo ever again.
Until he wakes up in high school and is forced to relive everything that led up to him cutting Kuroo out of his life, and this time he's not sure what the fuck he's supposed to do.

Suna was convinced he was overthinking things. That he was being overprotective, whatever the fuck that was supposed to mean. After all, he wasn't doing this for Tsumu's sake. He was doing it for his own. Because when the two of them inevitably break up, it would be Osamu left dealing with a crying, heartbroken Atsumu. It would be Osamu who would have to drive to his apartment every day with fresh tuna onigiri just to make sure the idiot still remembered to eat. It would be Osamu who would have to hunt Sakusa Kiyoomi down and make him regret ever looking at Miya Atsumu.
So no, this was not for Atsumu's sake. Not at all.
Or: Atsumu brings his boyfriend to Osamu's restaurant. Osamu is decidedly not happy about this.
