If someone gave you a chance to get to the top, would you take it?
Most people — you included — would say yes. You’d take the chance and enjoy your peaceful journey to the top. Kageyama Tobio, however, isn’t like ‘most people’. He wouldn’t just take the chance. He’d snatch it, annihilate everything in his path and course through the chaos. His hands would burn with the smoke of imminent execution as he grabs his obstacles, throws them at his foes and continues to claw his way up to the top. He’s so close that he can taste it. So much blood on his hands, but he’s almost there.
Unfortunately, his enemies keep multiplying.
The number of allies on his side keep decreasing.
And, clearly, fate just doesn’t favour Kageyama anymore. Sure, he’d won the battle against the prison. But to win the war was an entirely different matter. That doesn’t deter him from grabbing the reins of his life and lashing out at all that surrounds him, propelling his upward ascent through sheer willpower and hell-conjured ingenuity. He’s spent way too much time polishing his crown to allow it to become tarnished and sodden with rust. That, and he sure as hell isn’t going to leave his empire to an amateur.

Luigi Mangione’s been on the run for a week. Those pigs at the NYPD aren’t letting up, and there’s only so much running he can do before he needs to sit down and rest — chronic back pain and all. He spots a quaint diner just up ahead: Yukihira Diner.
His late grandmother had always told him, “prima mangiamo, poi facciamo tutto il resto*”. As a true Italian, he’d always valued the importance of a good meal to see him through the day. And so, he decides to enter the diner, not realising that this would be his final supper before meeting his demise at the hands of the police.
