Summary
When the King is attacked in his tent on patrol and falls into an unending sleep everyone is worried. What they don't know is that Arthur is fine. In fact he is standing right here next to them, watching them all fret over his prone body. To stave off the boredom whilst a cure is found Arthur takes to wandering the castle and soon discovered a hidden side of Camelot he never knew about.
Or: Arthur's soul gets trapped outside his body and takes to following his servant around. He gets an interesting insight into Merlin, his servant's life and just how much Camelot needs the man.

Summary
Viggo Grimborn was a broken man. His entire life, he was taught that dragons were something to be hunted, creatures to be culled. He was taught to never trust anyone, everyone lies. He was taught to never get attached, that love was weakness. He was ok with being the villain. His grandfather taught him well.
He lived by these rules for so long, that when a hero came and wrecked every single one of them, what could he do but fall?
The least he could do is die protecting the one he loved. He was destined to have a tragic end.
And yet, Hiccup saw fit to break that rule too.
(Viggo survives the events of Triple Cross. This changes everything.)

Summary
Oda Sakunosuke died to a bullet hole in the chest after a drawn-out fight with the murderer of his adopted children. His body was taken by the Port Mafia for examination, and his funeral was held, attended, and funded by one person months later. His death wasn't grieved by many, and even fewer remembered his name in the following years. It was just another example of an unimportant member of the Port Mafia dying on the job.
Or that was the official story, anyway.

THE ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE ODASAKU LIVES THAT I HAVE BEEN CRAVING FOR ACTUAL YEARS.I know there are technically a lot of fics of these two, but a mass majority (in my opinion) are very lacking and grossly mis-characterize one, if not both of them. (Not that I mind mis-characterization all the time, or people making a character into their own, just that they usually either make Dazai extremely tropey or Oda not written in a very believable manner) This is a real shame, because the special relationship these two share is my ultimate comfort. Now, that isn't to say I'm going to do a perfect job, but this is me giving my best go at it. ;)

Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.
AKA, Hiccup forfeited the final challenge, leaving Astrid with the right to kill the Nightmare. Story picks up in the Race to the Edge era, except Berk never learned the truth of dragons, no one knows how Hiccup really lost his leg, and stories of a hooded 'vigilante' riding a Night Fury have been long whispered...and Berk will see it all unfold.

Summary
A small sigh could be heard. "Hello. Can you hear me?" A small voice came and the young man felt his heart drop and, looking at the frown that formed on Ango's face, he realized that the man felt the same thing. That voice clearly belonged to a child. Probably a boy, judging by the tone.
"Yes. So, I imagine there's a reason you called here." Oda continued, remaining calm, although his insides felt in turmoil thinking about what would make a child who looked so young call an anti-suicide hotline.
The line was silent for a while longer, before a small sniffle could be heard. "I'm on the edge of a bridge. There was a sign indicating that you could call this number if you planned to kill yourself." The child spoke in an almost robotic tone, worrying the two adults even more. "I guess I just want to know if you will be able to stop me."

Summary
Dazai yelled in surprise when he was suddenly tackled to the ground, rolling over until he landed on top. Oda was beneath him, hands tightly holding Dazai’s shoulders and pulling him low in an inefficient attempt to protect him from any oncoming gunfire, although it seemed they had finally taken down enough of the organization for them to be solely occupied with the three mafiosi. Two bullets whizzed just over where Dazai would have moved to. He would have been struck in the knees.
Flawless, Dazai recalled, glancing at the older man. His iris held a hint of gratitude. He was sure Oda could see it.
“Dazai, are you ok—“ Oda started. His blue eyes suddenly shrunk in alarm. “Dazai—!”
His warning came too late.
Dazai felt the needle first. It came after the hand which grabbed him firmly by his nape, prodding into the skin of his neck. It did not hurt. He only felt a prick.
