Summary
Hermione Jean Granger hadn't known many boys to have a crush on her. At a certain point, she concluded that she was simply too intimidating to generate interest. And, in a more insecure moment, concluded she was simply not pretty enough.
This, of course, was wildly untrue, but Hermione's ability to sense other people's emotions was as dull as her divination skills.
In fact, there were many boys who had crushes on her across her time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Riz laughed, attempting to cover the sound with a cough. Fabian narrowed his eyes at Riz. He wasn't as good of a detective as Riz, but he was quite well-versed by now in the particular minutia of Riz's expressions.
"You know who she had the crush on," said Fabian.
Fabian figures things out, and then he doesn't. Riz and Adaine don't figure things out, and then they do.
