Summary
Kiara and Rafe have a turbulent history, only recently soothed over by a summer romance, they refer to as a summer 'fling'. Since Kiara has left for college, there relationship (despite her resistance) has only grown, until things go haywire the month of October. A lack of communication around a lack of attention in more than one area, cultivates into a night of mischief for Kiara and Rafe. Boundaries are tested, lines crossed, and Kiara proves she's not one to fix a man but fine-tune their crazy for (her) the greater-good.
And did I mention Kiara is in the hottest Halloween costume, and Rafe is in a devil's mask.....because yes to both.

Kiara watches as Rafe blinks, then drags his gaze down the length of her. He brings his beer bottle to his lips and takes a long sip before he says, “Didn’t realize moving back meant crashing parties.”
Kie’s head draws back in surprise. “Oh. Didn’t realize winning one race meant you own the Boneyard. My bad, dude.”
His blue eyes flicker with interest. He grins at her. She glares back.
