Mike watched as Will licked his lips, eyes following the movement with intensity he didn’t even know he was capable of. Will’s eyelids fluttered slightly, but then they shut, tight. “Can you teach me how to kiss?”
Mike’s world felt like it stopped spinning and fell off its axis. “What?” He asked, incredulous.
or, will asks mike to teach him how to kiss. chaos ensues.

Summary
“I’m not just worried about whatever Nancy is hiding Will, I’m worried about you too.” Mike says, his heartbeat picking up.
“Oh” Will says tenderly, his face slowly turning bright pink.
“You haven’t been exposed to the Upside Down like this in so long, and none of us really know what that might mean for you. I just want you to be safe, and I know that, when you’re with me, I can keep you safe.” Mike says in an equally as tender tone. The words leave Mike’s mouth without him even having to think about it, like it’s a truth he’s always known, that he would do anything to keep Will safe.
OR
We pick up where our heroes last left off, on top of a hill overlooking downtown Hawkins. Mike's concern for Will reaches new heights as the Upside Down begins to spread across the over world. Will on the other hand, while still battling his own demons, encourages Mike to finally talk to El. El makes a shocking discovery...

"Mike, What's wrong? I won't tell Will." Ms Byers asked, already opening the first aid and grabbing what she needed. "It's fine, I'm fine." Mike tried to avoid her gaze once again, but the small bathroom didn't make it easy.
"Mike.. You know I love you? You're like my son."
Mike looked at her with glassy eyes. His entire life was changed and he had no idea where he would be in a week but those words, Those 7 words, They crushed him. He felt everything he had been trying to hold in since he left the house he was no longer safe in, he felt it pour out. His eyes leaked a clear salty liquid, and it stung. He could taste the salt on his tongue, the way it tastes off but also comforting. Like it helped ground him.
