Nancy Wheeler was supposed to be in Hawkins Post, not in Scoops Ahoy with her new, annoying co-worker, Robin Buckley, trying not to let her get to her and chasing around hypothetical Russians. On top of that, she was debating whether she even wanted to be with Jonathan. Overall, she wasn't having the best time so far this summer.

Eleven stopped in her search. She turned to her brother with questioning look. Wondering what's going on in his head. She sensed something was wrong with her brother, but for what exactly, she wasn't sure. She sensed whatever was making his heart race and body panting for air, keeping his eyes downward, afraid to look at anyone. Wasn't anything to do with their mission. "Perhaps we are" she said calmly, drawing his eyes to her. "So what are we going to do about it"

Summary
After a devastating loss against Vecna ending in a hole being ripped between the two worlds, the party (and extended) start their first steps in moving forward. Scouting out the portals to see how many monsters come and go is priority number one.
Will suggests he go along since he's already used to the upside down and has decent gun skills and knowledge. In an act of bravery and stupidity Mike volunteers as well.
The two boys spend a few days camping in the forest alone before something eventually goes wrong. Emotionally and physically.

OR: I like Stranger Things 4, but I think some things could be improved if the scale was relegated back to Hawkins for anyone that wasn't the adults. Also, Mike should've been involved in the Nina storyline (possible spoilers for this fic).
