The train huffed to a halt and the doors opened with a ding. A great outpouring commenced, a weaving dance of travelers, and then, all at once, the people on the platform pressed forward. Everyone started slotting in.
“No,” Kaina said. “No, let’s take it to the end.”
OR: Kaina gets a job offer from UA and panics. Rumi finds her. They are in love. I call this angst and fluff with a fine sprinkling of metaphors

Enji has one last summer to try to get to know his children, and he is realizing slowly and with growing horror that they’ve outgrown him. He looked away and they grew up and he doesn’t know them anymore. And they are so used to him not being there that there’s no room for him to start now.
But he has to try. He has one last summer before he's going to be all alone in the house with nothing but regret and the barest of hopes that his children will be kinder to him than he has been to them, and he has to try.
(Also featuring the Todoroki siblings acting like actual siblings, lore drops, Shouto faking an illness, Fuyumi moving out, and Rei being a queen. Not in that order)

Summary
Every supervillain has a nemesis. All for One’s nemesis is a boy who, although he has all the skills required for world domination, continues to use them to be a thorn in All for One’s side.
Solution? Adopt.
It does not go as planned. Now he has a fake nephew who is still determined to take him down (outside of the house, anyway—they somehow manage to be a fully functional family when All for One isn’t doing crime). He’s read plenty of parenting books and none of them explain how to stop your kid from destroying your criminal empire.
OR: Izuku overthinks everything and intentionally gets himself kidnapped by All for One. Chaos ensues.

Tim and Young Justice fuck around in space (leading to some very funny dialogue lol) and the Batfam has the horrifying realization that Tim trusts his Young Justice team more than he trusts them. This fic has such a good balance between action and feelings. best friends to balance out the family drama. MUST reread several times, chapter 5 really hooked me in
